Why this exists

Kitty Catastrophe Clause is a creator-led project centered on cats, remembrance, creativity, and community. The goal is to build an unusual little ecosystem where the stories behind the cats remain visible while the project grows into practical ways to support animals and people who care for them.

The rescue-minded goal

A core project goal is to set aside a portion of project proceeds attributable to token activity for donations to animal shelters and TNR (trap-neuter-return) programs. The intention is to turn part of the attention and money generated by the project into practical help for cats.

For honesty, this does not mean every token purchase is automatically routed to a shelter. Donations will be reported when they occur, including the recipient and amount, so the project does not confuse an intention with a completed donation.

Why CLAW is central

CLAW is the project's community token and one of the main ways the public can participate in the evolving Kitty Catastrophe Clause universe. Future utilities may be added as the project develops. Future features are plans, not guarantees.
